Welcome to Skills for Life South West
Welcome to the South West’s online resource for everyone interested in adult literacy, ESOL and numeracy.
The Skills for Life portal site is a one stop shop for everyone involved in Skills for Life across the South West. If you are a learner wanting to find out about courses in your area, a teacher looking for careers advice or an employer needing staff training you’ve come to the right place.
The Skills for Life team is co-ordinating the regional Skills for Life strategy to ensure the South West’s needs in Skills for Life are met. Learners, providers, partners and employers are all part of the landscape that supports the development of Skills for Life in the region.
Skills for Life is all about improving adult literacy, language and numeracy skills. Raising standards in basic skills, including reading, writing, speaking, listening and maths, will enable people across the South West to achieve their potential at work and within their community, helping to build a vibrant and prosperous economy.
